The tibiofemoral derotation bandage is composed of a belt and unidirectional elastic bands; these straps incorporate silicone beads on the inner side with anatomical adhesion that perform a spiral traction from the medial part of the foot to the waist, rotating the tibia, femur and hip in the direction to be corrected, in order to provide greater joint stability and greater proprioception of the body schema, thus achieving a correct alignment of the lower limbs.

Indications:

Conditions resulting in dysfunction of lower limb alignment due to neurological disorders. The goal of the orthosis is to provide a more functional gait pattern and greater independence for daily activities and to improve balance, gait and posture.
Gait disorders requiring positioning of the lower limbs in abduction and/or external rotation in patients with infantile cerebral palsy, spina bifida and embryonic developmental disorders.
