The elbow joint is a "hinge" joint that allows flexion and extension. As a result, it has no compensation possibilities and reacts poorly to injuries. The ElbowSpastic elbow brace is a high-quality orthopedic device that provides gentle elbow stretching.
Our upper limb orthosis is made of lightweight, anatomically shaped ABS fabric and an innovative stretching mechanism.
The mechanism consists of a bolt and two screws assembled to the ABS panel. This solution allows for smooth adjustment of the angle between the arm and forearm. When the required angle is reached, simply screw in the bolt to prevent any unintentional angle changes.

This solution and the innovative design of our rigid elbow orthosis allow to increase elbow extension day after day and effectively prevent flexion contractures.
The ABS element is covered with a lightweight, skin-friendly Active3D™ thermoformed fabric.

Additionally, our orthosis is equipped with a special silicone cushion that holds the olecranon in place and prevents it from slipping.
