The orthoses are intended for prolonged use in patients with complicated knee instability (partial or complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament), resulting from early injuries (before or after surgery) or joint diseases.
The ACL CCA long and lightweight knee brace is a professional medical device of closed construction that improves the quality of walking and supports the rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system. It stabilizes the knee joint and supports the muscle insertions.
It is made from innovative fabrics called Aerospace™ and Activespace™.
The device is equipped with independent sets of Velcro straps, dynamic ACL support and 2-axis anatomical lateral splints 2RA-ACL. The splints have been equipped with a 2RA drop lock, which allows for adjustment of the ROM (75° flexion, 15° extension and 0° immobilization). In addition, the splint includes the ACL Precision System, which is an innovative support for the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), which, in case of injury, minimizes the unnecessary anterior drawer syndrome.
Purpose of use:
The closed orthosis with the ACL Precision system should be used in cases of:
ACL injuries treated surgically or non-surgically
knee ligament injuries LCL, MCL and PCL
knee ligament reconstruction
knee dislocation,
knee twist and sprain
lateral instability of the knee joint,
other surgical (orthopedic) procedures.
It is possible to use a thinner cushion under the drop lock.
