One to four finger extension splint for treating Dupuytren's disease Dupuytrex.

Post or pre-operative uses. We recommend the use of cold-formable open supports (ref 59468 ).

GLOVE – SPLINT FOR IMMOBILIZATION OF METACARPO-PHALANGEAL AND INTERPHALANGEAL JOINTS IN EXTENSION OR FLEXION OF THE HAND AND FINGERS.

Features:
Glove made of velvet and rayon interior fabric, micro-hook closure and safety strap.
Finger splints, independent, comprising a metal plate and a closure system with velvet and micro-hook fastening.
The digital splints are made of malleable aluminum allowing variation in the extension or flexion of the metacarpophalangeal (MCF) and interphalangeal (IFP, IFD) joints.

Function:
Immobilization in full extension or flexion of the metacarpophalangeal (MCF) and interphalangeal (IFP, IFD) joints.
Thanks to the glove and individual finger splints, we will be able to select those that are necessary depending on the finger or fingers to be immobilized.

Since the splints are independent, we can immobilize the index, middle, ring and little fingers independently, by adapting the required splint plate, fixing it with the guide and its micro-hook fixing system.

Directions:
As methods of immobilization of the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints.

Finger fractures, dislocations, traumatic injuries, capsulo-ligamentous injuries, metacarpal fractures, retractile scars in burn victims, bursitis.

As a method of postoperative immobilization.

SET UP

Choose the correct size and side as well as the finger splints needed to treat the affected finger(s).

Insert the finger splint into the corresponding finger.

Using the malleable aluminum splint, adjust the extension or flexion until the desired position is achieved.

Then place your hand in the glove and the affected fingers in the corresponding splint.

Secure the splint to the hand and fingers with the micro-hook closure system.
