Umbilical hernia occurs when intestine, fat or fluid passes through a weak point in the belly. The abdominal wall is torn and the peritoneum with the intestine comes out of the cavity. As a result, an advanced hernia, shaped like a soft knot, may be visible. Symptoms of umbilical hernia include: a swelling or lump near the belly button. Often, it can also cause stomach pain. Umbilical hernia tends to get bigger over time.

Hernia occurs when the abdominal wall is weak, mainly in children or the elderly. It is related to physical activity such as weightlifting or obesity and pregnancy. It can also occur in cases of postoperative scarring. The ideal solution in this case is to use the umbilical hernia belt before surgery.

Using our umbilical hernia belt is an ideal solution before a patient decides to undergo surgery. Therefore, we have created a hernia belt with a special silicone pad, Ombiliflex OS (one size fits all), which supports and limits existing hernias.

The Ombiliflex OS umbilical hernia belt (one size) was made of thermoformed EVA foam and was equipped with an anatomical silicone pad. This silicone pad has an anatomical shape and, thanks to the use of soft silicone, it adapts perfectly to the human body. To create this pad, we used a special material, so that even using a belt for long hours does not cause the hernia to widen. In addition, the device is equipped with a wide circumferential belt. The important thing is that the patient can easily remove the end of the belt and cut it to adjust the length of the device.

The Ombiliflex OS umbilical hernia belt (one size) consists of the following components:

1. A soft, thermoformed element made of high-quality 3D foam. Inside the element, the patient can easily place a special silicone pad,
2. a circumferential strap that can be cut and adjusted to each patient,
3. a separate Velcro closure,
4. a silicone cushion available in two different sizes - MINI and MAXI,
5. two cotton covers for the silicone cushion with OekoTex Standard 100 certification.

What is important is that the circumferential strap is available in one universal size. Thanks to this solution, there is no need to keep a large quantity in your warehouse and each patient will be able to adjust the length of the device according to their own needs.

ATTENTION! The silicone hernia pad that is attached to the belt by Velcro is available in two different sizes - MINI and MAXI. The patient must choose between the MINI or MAXI pads.
