Description and Features:

The new "Body Armor Heel Reliever" heel relief boot is designed for the prevention and healing of pressure sores on the heel or in cases of diabetic foot.

Designed for bedridden patients, it can be individually adjusted according to the treatment.

Indications:

For the prevention and healing of pressure sores on the heel, in cases of diabetic foot or decubitus
Score of 14 or less on the Braden Scale
Diabetes with symptoms of neurosensory impairment
Pulse not perceptible at foot level
Paraplegia
Prolonged immobility or coma

Modes of action:

Shifts pressure off the Achilles tendon and gastrocnemius and soleus muscle complex at the calf level
The heel area is completely freed from any contact pressure, the heel “floats freely”
