This pair of Künzli Ortho® stabilization shoes optimally supports therapy and rehabilitation in the case of acute injuries and chronic disorders of the ligaments, tendons and bones of the foot. Our stabilizing orthopaedic shoes with the Ortho® system offer what medicine demands: they optimally support therapy and rehabilitation in the event of injuries to the ligaments, tendons and bones of the foot. Thanks to the long-proven Ortho® - Stabil system, the injury is immobilized and the foot stabilized, but the patient remains mobile and active in everyday life.

The concept of early functional therapy
Instead of fixing and immobilizing the foot after an injury/surgery, the concept of early functional therapy aims for the earliest possible return to movement and stress. The musculature is activated through training and the metabolism is stimulated, which promotes the tissue healing process. Active therapy helps to reduce further pain, complications and new injuries.

Ortho® gets healing moving
The Ortho® stabilization shoes from Künzli (both standard and special shoes) optimally support therapy and rehabilitation in the event of injuries to ligaments, tendons and bones of the foot. They are designed on the basis of the early functional therapy approach and follow the motto: "Mobility through stability".

The innovative Ortho® stabilization system limits inversion and eversion, reduces plantar and dorsiflexion and limits rotational movement of the foot. The Ortho® stabilizing shoe thus provides stability to the injury and sufficient safety for the patient when walking.

Ortho® Stabil shoes are worn on both feet, which allows a symmetrical gait and thus prevents postural disorders. Ortho® stabilizing shoes from Künzli were developed by specialists and can be used for many indications around the foot and ankle, postoperatively or in conservative treatment.

The Ortho stabilization system:

1. high upper with side stabilizers
A high shaft with two integrated stabilizers secures the ankle joint on both sides. The heel strap as well as the heel clip ensure direct heel traction and provide optimal heel support.

2nd lacing system
The 3-part lacing system allows for individual fine adjustment. Thanks to precise tightening, the stable shoe adapts perfectly to the morphology of the forefoot.

3. elastic band at the forefoot
The elastic band at the forefoot allows for individual distribution of traction on the instep and provides better support at the forefoot.

4. therapeutic sole
The physiological shape of the therapeutic insole promotes controlled and effortless rolling. The structure of the insole is also particularly well suited to orthopedic devices.
