Active correction corset for scoliosis in children with Boa fine adjustment system.
The only progressive and minimally invasive correction orthosis for reducible scoliosis in children that allows free movement.
The dynamic scoliosis brace for children is a non-invasive solution for managing scoliosis and spinal deformities. Combined with systematic physiotherapy, the brace maintains the effects obtained after the exercises and prevents any further deformation.
Scoliosis is a condition that causes a lateral curvature of the spine and includes three-dimensional deformities in the frontal, sagittal and transverse planes. The most common type is "idiopathic", which means that the exact cause is not known. Most cases of idiopathic scoliosis occur between the age of 10 and the end of the child's growth. Scoliosis can be divided into two types: structural scoliosis and functional scoliosis. The former refers to a structural abnormality of the spine, while functional scoliosis is related to poor posture or other body irregularities. Although functional scoliosis involves a lateral curvature of the spine without rotation of the spine and the structure of the spine is still normal, it requires systematic physiotherapy and passive correction. Our dynamic scoliosis brace is perfect for this purpose.
The spinal orthosis consists of 3 semi-rigid pads with the professional BOA® Fit System compression system and a strap system.
The spinal orthosis provides professional correction. One pad is placed at the top of the spinal curvature. The others are placed in the parts important for correction (bases). When you turn the BOA® Fit System, the straps tighten and stop the progression of scoliosis. The compression BOA® Fit System is extremely durable and firm.
