BioWalker walking and standing device for disabled children

BioWalker allows disabled children to "walk". To be "verticalized", to rediscover the sensations of walking, and a relationship with the world thanks to an innovative parent-child bond.

The BioWalker® is an active stander that allows you to stand and walk. The stander is suitable for children who cannot stand and move independently. The BioWalker® is recommended for children from 1 year of age (the right time to start walking).
The BioWalker® verticalizer consists of 4 main elements:
adjustable straps for the companion,
a trunk vest with hip belt for the patient,
tibial scales for the attendant and a walking shoe for the patient.
Tibial shells with feet for the patient, adjustable in height.

INTENDED USE:
Cerebral palsy (MPD),
quadriplegia,
dyskinesia (athetosis, chorea),
dystonia,
spina bifida,
paraplegia,
moderate muscle contractures (especially of the lower limbs),
multiple sclerosis,
gait disturbances.
spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)

CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR USE:
advanced muscle and tendon contractures,
fracture/sprain of the lower limbs,
severe body asymmetry (advanced scoliosis, spinal and pelvic deformities),
caregiver lower back pain syndrome,
caregiver's pregnancy,
lack of medical recommendation regarding the patient's standing position.
