Thoracic support extension (removable) for rigid cervical collar

Made of low-density polyethylene, it consists of two pieces connected together by side Velcro closures. The orthosis has a padded foam inner lining and a velvet outer covering for increased comfort and to prevent friction. The front part of the collar has an opening for users with a tracheostomy. X-rays can be taken while the patient is wearing the collar and the fabric elements can be removed for washing.

Indications: Post-traumatic immobilization (whiplash). Treatment of cervical disc herniation. Post-operative protection.
