Product Description
The orthosis is equipped with an anatomical ring stabilizing the patella and three-axis lateral splints with a rack without adjustment of the extension and flexion angle.

Made from ActivPren fabric.

Thanks to the Air Supply System and the perforation of the soft part of the orthosis, the skin breathes better and moisture is evacuated to the outside of the orthosis.

Ideal length for tall patients and people involved in active sports.

Stabilizes the knee and kneecap, relieves the muscles and the joint between the kneecap and the thigh.


Properties
Stabilizes the knee joint, stabilizes and releases tension in the patellofemoral joint.

Maintaining a stable temperature and elastic pressure helps reduce swelling and pain, aids in the healing of post-injury effusions and hematomas.

Optimal length for tall or overweight patients. Conditions of use should be specified by the doctor.


Purpose of use
- in cases of advanced degenerative changes and/or instability of the joint due to injury or disease, when patients are not willing or qualified for surgical intervention

- in case of rehabilitation after surgery on the knee following an injury or illness

- in case of atony of the lower limbs, when standing and learning to walk.

Contraindications

- In case of coexisting varicose veins, previous inflammation of the veins, swelling of the legs, the use of the orthosis is only possible with socks or pressure stockings II* specifically selected for varicose veins.

- In case of skin changes where the orthosis touches the skin (abrasions, wounds, eczema), it is necessary to contact your doctor. The use of the orthosis is possible after applying a bandage.

- Correct use of the splint should be particularly monitored in children, patients with memory disorders and the elderly.


Splints 3
Splints [3] - Three-axis polycentric splints equipped with a rack and pinion mechanism that reproduces the anatomical movement of the knee joint.

These splints are used in long knee joint orthoses, in cases where very high lateral stabilization of the joint is required.

They are made of high quality aluminum alloy, with a durable sanded coating, which protects the splint from the influence of sweat and salt.

The standard length of the splint is 380 mm.

The splints are equipped with a specially shaped neoprene cover to protect the rack mechanism and prevent potential injuries.

Information for patients

- Only a correctly selected, adjusted and used orthosis according to the doctor's instructions fulfills its function - incorrect use can lead to worsening of joint problems, skin abrasion, walking problems, swelling, inflammation of the veins.

- The orthosis is designed for walking - in case of prolonged sitting, it is necessary to remove it;

- Long-term use of the orthosis may lead to decline in thigh muscles - regular exercise is recommended to strengthen the thigh muscles;

- In case of swelling of the thigh or foot, it is necessary to contact the doctor - usually the use of varicose stockings is necessary;

- No cream, poultice, ointment, etc. should be used before applying the orthosis.

- Improper product care (insufficient washing and rinsing) can lead to skin abrasion, redness, allergic reactions linked to excessive perspiration and the development of bacteria.

Interview
- Wash your hands with lukewarm water and soap at a temperature of 30°.

- Do not mold.

- Do not chlorinate.

- Dry away from heat sources.
