Fully opening ligament knee brace for easy fitting and precise adjustment.

Equipped with a pair of exclusive asymmetrical goural formable aluminum stays (1 straight for the outer edge and 1 curved for the inner edge of the knee).

The bicentric joint allows the knee to be completely freed, or to be limited in flexion and/or extension by increments, or to be blocked by increments.

The ActivPren Open orthosis is made of perforated neoprene foam, covered with a fabric lining. This internal perforation allows the skin to breathe and reduces overheating. It has four independent series of Velcro straps. The device is equipped with two-axis side splints with a rack and pinion mechanism and adjustment. The angle of flexion and extension can be adjusted every 20°. The splints are made of high-quality aluminum alloy with a permanent powder coating. The length of the splints and their system arranged in the shape of the letter X allow for perfect adherence to the limb and excellent stabilization of the joint. This precise adjustment of the device facilitates the process of rehabilitation of the injured knee joint.

To achieve a good fit and stabilization of the limb, we have provided the 2R splint. It allows to hold the hinges in the axial knee joint. This type of splint is universal and can therefore be used for both legs. In addition, the length of the splint is greater and the four series of special Velcro straps ensure excellent frontal and sagittal stabilization. The splint is of open construction, which is an ideal solution for elderly people with reduced mobility.

This orthosis should be used in cases of:

• knee dislocation,

• knee twist and sprain,

• lateral instability of the knee joint,

• knee ligament injuries LCL, MCL and ACL,

• knee ligament reconstruction

• other surgeries (orthopedic).

2R braces - Polycentric double-axis braces, with a rack that reflects the anatomical movement of the knee. These braces are used in all knee joint orthoses where, in addition to angle adjustment, lateral joint stabilization is also important. The braces are made of high-quality aluminum alloy, with a sanded and durable coating, neutral to the influence of sweat and salt. The required flexion and extension angle every 20o is adjusted using special pins. The braces are equipped with special oval covers that prevent the pins from falling out and unauthorized persons from changing the angle. The standard length of the braces is 390 mm, but longer braces are additionally equipped with lateral stabilization of the knee joint. The brace and its design are patented in the European Union.
