Its function is to limit as much as possible the movements of the wrist, hand and fingers by keeping them slightly flexed at 10º with abduction of the thumb.

Neurological lesions of central or peripheral origin (spastic and flaccid paralysis); as a treatment to prevent deformities of rheumatic origin as well as to relieve pain and reduce inflammation. Carpal tunnel syndrome.
