Long thumb immobilization orthosis. Covers the wrist up to the tip of the thumb. Lightweight and comfortable. Formable for perfect adaptation, Velcro closure and adjustments.
PRODUCT-BENEFIT
- Soft splint for immobilization of the metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb, the saddle joint and the distal interphalangeal joint of the thumb.
- Soft interior padding
- Long, integrated, anatomically pre-molded stabilizing element extending to the wrist area.

Immobilization is a fundamental principle in the treatment of injuries and overexertion, as it significantly accelerates the healing process.
The splint has soft padding and is therefore very comfortable to wear. The integrated, anatomically pre-shaped plastic splint ensures that it fits perfectly.
Indications:
Post-traumatic, post-operative, e.g. after tendon reconstruction, immobilization in case of degenerative processes such as de Quervain's disease, rhizarthrosis.
Contraindications:
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), lymphatic drainage problems, also soft tissue swellings at locations far from the applied bandage, impaired sensitivity and blood circulation in the treated body area, skin diseases in the treated body area, latex allergy.
Composition of materials:
86% polyester, 14% polyamidesilk
Important note:
No reuse – this product is intended for single patient use. If your doctor has prescribed that the bandage be worn overnight, avoid restricting blood circulation. If you feel numb, loosen the bandage or remove it, if necessary. Consult your doctor if any discomfort persists.
The product contains latex which may cause allergic reactions.
