The PUSH AFO BANDAGE provides excellent support for the foot when walking. Thanks to the innovative design of the bandage, you can regain a natural gait and move around safely again. The Push AFO is a foot orthosis that combines several functions: lifting the foot during the swing phase, limiting plantar flexion after the landing phase, and relaxing the muscles during the rolling of the foot. In addition, it guarantees lateral stability of the ankle. The elastic bands of the Push AFO are adjustable. This allows the user to adapt the dynamic lifting of the foot during the swing phase to their specific needs. During the landing phase, the elastic bands ensure the slowdown necessary for good control of plantar flexion. During the support phase, the ankle is free to perform flexion and extension movements, while during the rolling of the forefoot, the (residual) function of the soleus muscle is called upon. This results in a natural and efficient gait. Usually, the shoe ensures that the orthosis is held securely around the foot, but the Push AFO has a system of fastening straps. Thanks to this innovative concept, you can wear this bandage with light shoes, such as slippers.
