Boxia anti-equine orthosis with gel instep protection. This protection helps reduce the discomfort caused by the strap (under the tension of the elastic) pressing on the instep.

In order to avoid injuries, discomfort, and the risk of losing metal hooks that tend to turn and misplace, we offer an external attachment hook that allows for easier placement of the elastic. This support is easily attached to the eyelets of the shoe with the supplied flex clamps, or to all shoes with the crop a dile clamp.

The Boxia device consists of 2 separate parts, a supra-malleolar strap above the ankles and a non-slip union support, to be fixed between the tongue and the laces of the shoe using a central hook-type anchor. The two parts are joined by an elastic band intended for traction, adjustable to a greater or lesser flexion. The posterior area of ​​the strap includes an internal gel pad offering greater comfort to the Achilles tendon.

The Boxia Anti-Equine Device raises the forefoot immediately after the take-off phase. It prevents the risk of tripping over common elements such as carpets, curbs or surface irregularities.

The Boxia anti equine has the function of producing dorsal flexion in the take-off phase of walking, it is indicated for flaccid paralysis. It is contraindicated in patients with spastic paralysis, who do not have varus-valgus control.

All optional accessories are supplied in addition to the accessories normally supplied with the orthosis.

For example, if you order a Boxia T2 with an optional accessory: T4 elastic, you will have the T2 elastic + a T4 elastic.
