Calf support for Boxia foot lifter

This strap attaches above the calf and extends down to the ankle cuff to better distribute the pulling force.

The supramalleolar support of the drop foot ankle brace stores a large amount of energy, like a pivot (fulcrum), to enable it to transfer the forces necessary to lift a paralyzed foot.

In cases where the patient has intolerance due to excessive force, the Boxia calf support is recommended.

It helps stabilize the orthosis and limit forces and constraints by transferring them from the ankle to the calf.
