Operative and conservative, it is necessary to use our special shoulder support CLEVER 2 ROTATOR, which stabilizes the joint and keeps it in external rotation at 15° or 30°. The glenoid labrum is the dense cartilaginous rim that surrounds the shoulder socket (glenoid) and serves as an anchor point for the shoulder capsule and ligaments that help stabilize the shoulder.

The synovial capsule and glenohumeral ligaments are attached to it.



Labral injuries are common in sports where the athlete experiences shoulder subluxations and dislocations, such as collision or contact sports (American football or rugby), throwing sports (baseball or softball), sports involving repetitive overhead movements (swimming or volleyball), or sports in which athletes may fall to the ground on the shoulder or arm.

A pulling injury to the shoulder and arm, such as that which can occur when holding the rope while water skiing, can also cause a labral injury. Labral injuries can be divided into two types:

a SLAP (superior labrum, anterior to posterior) lesion
a Bankart lesion
A SLAP (superior labrum, anterior to posterior) injury occurs when the long head of the biceps tendon attaches to the upper part of the labrum and the repetitive pull on this area from the throwing motion can cause the superior labrum to deform or detach.



In most cases, conservative treatment of labral injury is ineffective. Usually, the rupture of the shoulder joint (glenoid labrum) is performed by arthroscopic surgery, during which the doctor cleans and stabilizes the injured joint.

In both cases, surgical treatment and conservative treatment, it is necessary to use our special CLEVER 2 ROTATOR shoulder brace which stabilizes the joint and keeps it in external rotation of 15° or 30°.

The orthosis consists of

1. Anatomical buckle straps with length adjustment.

The system is equipped with two fixing eyelets and easy-to-attach anatomical straps.

It also features two pressure relief pads and a quick-release front buckle for easy donning and doffing of the brace.

It is an innovative and active 3D lamination with high air permeability.

This spacer material is lightweight and consists of two parts:

an outer layer made of durable 3D polyamide and a skin-friendly cotton layer, certified Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

ActivExpanse is not elastic, which improves stabilization.

The outer 3D spacer layer is hypoallergenic and provides high air permeability and minimal absorption of water and moisture.

On the outside of the sleeve, we have assembled a 3D EVA foam cushion, which provides additional stabilization and support.
